About

Well Hello & Hi There!

My name is Payton Reeves and I’m delighted that you are here.

I am originally from Dallas, TX…and while it’s true that everything is “Bigger in Texas” it is also true that nothing beats “The Big Apple”.

Inspired early in my life by Carol Burnett, Lucille Ball, and Sutton Foster, I set out to explore the world of Performing Arts. It was during my 8th grade year when I truly discovered the magic of Musical Theatre.
My first role? Mr. Toad in The Wind In The Willows. So I like to say my spark was found in a “fat suit” and green face paint.

Since then it has been an incredible, inspiring and challenging journey. The capstone of my studies was spending my final semester in NYC where I studied in Syracuse University’s Tepper Semester. After graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre Performance from Abilene Christian University, I signed with Carson-Adler Agency and moved to New York City.

Little did I know that, like so many other things, my plans would be disrupted by the pandemic, but I refuse to let that stop my dream of performing.

I returned to Dallas for a period, where I continued to perform in productions; Bright Star (Alice), 9to5 (Doralee), and Mary Poppins (Mary).

These opportunities have helped me carry on and stay sharp as I continue to perfect my craft, and audition as part of my relentless desire to perform. Given the opportunity I would love to perform in New York City, or another large market, on tour or even cruise lines…anywhere that I can so that I might fulfill my purpose by bringing people joy through storytelling and performance.

Who knows, I might even inspire a shy, 8th grader to find their calling and pursue their dreams someday.
